Presentation of Our Strategic Plan

In a recent gathering that served as a vital platform for community engagement, our Nga Puna Rau governance group introduced the Strategy Action Plan to the Ministry of Environment along with a variety of key stakeholders.

Attendees included representatives from the Ministry for Primary Industries, Te Puni Kokiri, the Department of Conservation, Lakes380, the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, One Billion Trees, Nathan Consultancy, the Manawatu/Whanganui Regional Council, the Rangitikei District Council, GNS Science, and the Cawthron Institute, all of whom actively participated in discussions about the plan’s potential impact.

The diverse representation from various sectors underscored a collective dedication to fostering innovative environmental solutions, indicating that this collaboration marks the beginning of a significant effort for our rohe.
